Welcome to the realm of kaiju. To all of the new comers here, you must be asking yourselves "what is a kaiju?" The word kaiju is japanese for "monster" or "a large creature". Now comes the question of why choose something that is so out there that not many people will understand? Well...it all started out when i was a little boy.
  At the age of 5 (now 19) my father had gotten me into Godzilla, the most renounced kaiju world round, with Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah. I asked him "what is this? And so he replied, "This is godzilla. A giant fire breathing, indestructible monster."
  Captivated by the way he looked, the way he destroyed building after building, his iconic roar, and later on to face his arch nemesis, King Ghidorah, I knew from that point on I had been hooked into the realm of giant monsters.
  I quickly learned that there were many kaiju films, most of which my father grew up watching when he was just a kid. Each time a monster movie would come on I would make off like a rocket to the T.V. Since there is a great deal of kaiju I thought it be the perfect premise for this blog.
  I wont hesitate to go through all the monsters "some" of us know. Their history, meanings, incarnations, etc., all will be said and done about each monster with most hailing from Japan and some other countries. Everything from Godzilla to Gamera and everything in between with the exclusion of Jeagers, mechs, and war machines. Those will appear later on down the line as they technically are not monsters, MechaGodzilla's 2&3 and the martian tripods from War of the Worlds are a couple of examples.
  Expect one new monster a week or if time permits, two a week for I am a busy person but when I do post something new, you will know. I will also post images of each monster I talk about if it I am able to find it which shouldn't be too difficult but hey, you never know. If I'm allowed to i may post the occasional video to help with what each kaiju looks like and any abilities each may hold.
